What are acrylic nails? Acrylic nails are created using a mixture of liquid and powder monomer to form a hard protective layer over your natural nails.
Who are acrylics for? Best suited for clients who use their hands a lot and are tough with their hands. They are very water and chemical resistant. You can get acrylic overlay over your natural nails or extend them to a length of your liking. They're great for clients looking for strong, durable extensions.
Do acrylics damage my nails? They shouldn't cause damage if they are made properly by a professional using safe products, and are taken care of by the client. Removals should be done professionally.
What is the safest way to remove acrylics? File and soak in acetone. Due to the strong adhesion ability of acrylics, ripping off your acrylics can cause damage which can take weeks to heal from. We do not work on damaged nails and will advise you take a break if you have damaged nails from an unsafe removal.
How long should acrylic nails last? Depends the speed of your natural nail growth, how tough you are on your nails, how you care for them. They should last between 3-4 weeks. They could last longer but with the outgrowth we don't recommend leaving too long between your refill appointments. It's advised to to a full removal every 3-4 sets as this allows us to assess the health and condition of your natural nails underneath.
